AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): In a tragic incident, an oil tanker carrying diesel bearing number TR01-T-1275 over turned and fell into Manu River on Saturday.
According to sources, the tanker was towards Agartala from Dharmanagar side.
The driver of the oil tanker namely Pramod Nath was saved from calamity.
The driver was immediately rushed to the local hospital for treatment where in the attending doctors discharged the driver after first aid, the source added.
On the other hand officer-in-charge of Manu police station Babul Das informed that an enquiry has been ordered regarding the mishap, the source mentioned.
