KHOWAI, February 16 (TIWN): One rice loaded truck was set ablaze in office tilla at Khowai yesterday midnight by unknown miscreants.

According to source, one rice loaded truck bearing registration number TR01-F-1611 standing near a rice godown in office tilla at khowai was set ablaze by some unknown miscreants.

All on a sudden the truck driver noticed that the truck was on fire. After getting the information one fire tender from Khowai fire service station was rushed to the spot, the source added.

After 20 minutes the fire was in total control of the fire service personnel.

Immediately police personnel from Khowai police station also rushed to spot to control the situation.       

On the other hand, the reports said that the fire service personnel have managed to recover 40 bags of the rice loaded in the truck.

A specific case has been registered in the Khowai police station and police are still investigating the case, the source mentioned.
