AGARTALA, July 14 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha praised PM Modi for his various schemes on tribal development.
“Nobody thought of the benefit of the people who are living in the backward places and communities. But since Prime Minister Modi took charge, especially since he became Prime Minister in 2014, we have noticed one after another schemes were launched for the welfare of the people,” Dr. Saha said.
“The Jana-jati people were especially benefited due to his schemes,” he added.
“Only announcement is not enough, but there should be a saturation point. Earlier, only 3% water accessibility existed in the tribal areas, and now it’s over 85% which has been covered with pipeline water,” he added.
“From electricity services to ST certificates --- we are working to fulfill all the necessary things for the people,” CM told the media.
