Agartala, July 13 (TIWN): A horrific accident involving three vehicles and a motorcycle occurred on Sunday evening at SekerKot Darogabari area under Bishalgarh police station. Several people were injured in the collision.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident took place around 8 pm when a Maruti WagonR (TR01BF0682), a Maruti Suzuki (TR01AH0543), a Maruti Eco (TR06C0251), and a motorcycle (TR07C5548) collided with each other on the Agartala-Bishalgarh road. The Eco vehicle lost control due to high speed and collided with the Maruti vehicle, which in turn collided with the WagonR. The Eco vehicle overturned and hit the motorcycle.
The locals rushed to the spot after hearing a loud noise and informed the fire department. The fire department personnel along with locals rescued the injured and took them to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital and Hapania hospital.
The accident caused traffic congestion on the Agartala-Bishalgarh road, with many vehicles stuck in the jam.
