MELAGHAR, July 12 (TIWN): An eleven-year-old child died after a truck that was carrying soil, hit him and ran over him.

The unfortunate child named Rajesh Das was studying in Class-V.

The kid died on the spot, said Doctor.

The deadly incident happened in Poangbari Bazar, and eye-witnesses said the vehicle was in high speed before it ran over the kid.

Family, along with local people, rushed him to the hospital, but by the time Rajesh was taken to the hospital, he had died.

Police arrested the truck driver and seized the vehicle.
