KHOWAI, July 12 (TIWN): Tripura police continue vigilance over illegal intrusions in the state from foreign countries. On Saturday, Khowai police informed that they arrested two illegal aliens from Bangladesh at Baijalbari, Belfang area. The arrested youths have been identified as – Khokon Sarkar and Anik Sarkar. During regular checking, police interrogated two suspects at Belfang Naka Point who were traveling in an auto rickshaw bearing number - TR063651. During interrogation, they said they had come from the Mohanpur area and were on the way to Khowai. Both accepted that they are from Bangladesh and entered India illegally. From the detained persons, Bangladeshi currency was also seized, said police.

Police detained both, and after interrogation, the arrestees will be produced before the court.
