Bishalghar, July 12 (TIWN): A brazen theft has sent shockwaves through the residents of Bishalghar, with thieves targeting a garage and stealing batteries from a vehicle.
The incident occurred in the Raghunathpur area, where a driver, Subol Mia, had parked his vehicle on the road overnight.
The thieves, who are believed to be part of an organized gang, not only stole the batteries from Subol Mia's vehicle but also targeted a nearby garage owned by Ripon Mia. However, their plans were foiled when locals spotted them and raised an alarm, forcing the thieves to abandon the stolen batteries and flee.
The police were quick to respond and recovered the stolen batteries. The residents of Bishalghar are now living in fear, demanding that the police administration take strict action against the thieves. They believe that these thieves are involved in various anti-social activities to fund their addiction.
The incident has highlighted the growing concern over safety and security in the area, with residents now staying awake at night to keep watch. The police need to take immediate action to curb this menace and restore a sense of security among the residents.
