On Thursday evening Bishramganj police arrested five persons from the Bishramganj market and 400 ya-ba tablets were seized from them along with 125 gram sugar container, 17 cellphones and Rs. 25,000 cash.

An NDPS case ---21/2024 U/S- 22 (C)/25/27 A/29 of NDPS Act was registered in Bisharamganj police station against the arrested persons – 1) Anurupam Datta, 2) Jamal Hossain, 3) Ram Datta, 4) Jayanta Ghosh and 5) Raju Saha.
