DHARMANAGAR, Dec 2 (TIWN): Protesting against attacks on Bangladesh minorities, and the arrest of Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das a mass-gathering was organized by Hindu Sangharsha Samiti in Dharmanagar subdivision.
A parallel protest was also organized in Agartala, where the agitators entered Bangladesh VISA office, taking down Bangladesh’s flag and setting it on fire.
In Dharmanagar, the protest was supported by priests, common men, and youth.
A memorandum was submitted to Dharmanagar DM Debapriyo Bardhan pleading him on the ongoing issues in the neighboring country Bangladesh.
The protest rally started from the Kali Dighi area and it marched across the town.
