BELONIA, Feb 8 (TIWN): Opposition CPI-M party held a mass-demonstration on Thursday in Belonia, 1 No-Tila.
MLA Ashok Mitra, Subdivision’s Secretary Arun Tripura, and Women leader Supriya Mallik were present during the protest movement.
CPI-M protested against the Budget-2024, privatization policy, and slashing of MHNREGA funds.
Hundreds of people joined the protest program led by mass leaders such as Tapas Datta, MLA Dipankar Se, Ashok Mitra, Babul Debnath and others.
Various unions of the party participated in the mass demonstration.
CPI-M is the 3rd opposition party in BJP ruled Tripura after Tipra Motha.
