AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): As per the announcement in budget 2023, Tripura Govt now has launched CM Jana Arogya Jojona project. Under the project annual 5 lakhs of free treatment will be received by the card holders, said Minister Sushanta Chowdhury in a press conference on Tuesday at Secretariat. National Health Mission MD, TCS, Binoy Bhushan Das was also present and explained how the scheme would benefit the people. “Apart from the residents of Tripura, the construction workers who are in the state will also receive the benefit. They are over 10,000 in number,” said Chowdhury. “Those who are under Ayushman scheme would not get the CM Jana Arogya Jojona as they are already getting the same benefit. Rest 4.15 lakh people will be covered under CM Jana Arogya Jojona scheme,” said Chowdhury.
“Apart from treatment, medicines are also given free even for the post treatment time. This is indeed a revolutionary decision taken by the CM and Finance Minister. In cabinet, now it has been approved,”, the Minister added.
