AGARTALA, Oct 6 (TIWN): Fake news, and personal attacks through blogs without any base drew the eyes of viewers to controversial and multiple crime-accused blogger Saikat Talapatra’s “Independent” social media page. From women journalists to housewives nobody was left out of the target list.
From online blackmailing of Editors to character assassination posts, there is hardly any ill method is left that has not been used by Talapatra in last few years.
The multiple crimes accused and controversial blogger Saikat Talapatra finally was arrested under nonbailable sections.
The arrest warrant against him was issued in 2022 but he remined absconding. Saikat Talapatra was arrested by Tripura Police from Sodhpur, Ghola area of West Bengal with cooperation of West Bengal Police.
He was taken to NCC PS, to be produced before the Court. He was booked U/S 307 506 441.
There are multiple cases lodged against Saikat Talapatra.
