AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): Amid rising unemployment, the TET qualifiers are now seeking recruitments in Tripura, where huge posts are lying vacant but the Education Dept is least bothered. Schools in Tripura, especially the rural schools are suffering from teachers’ crisis but currently, 361 TET passed-out students are seated jobless. On Wednesday, the unemployed youths visited the Education Dept and requested the Education Director to take action to recruit them.
Talking to media, the TET qualifiers said, “In the last assembly session, on being asked, CM Manik Saha who is also holding the Education Dept said that under TET-I 1015 and under TET-II 1644 posts, totaling 3300 posts are lying vacant. Our number is very low. 3500 TET qualifiers were recruited 2021 whereas in 2022 TET-I 194 and in TET-II 167 totalling 361 TET qualifiers are seeking jobs”.
“We request the Chief Minister to save us by recruiting us”, said the job aspirants.
