AGARTALA, Aug 2 (TIWN): In the name of Cricket, scammers are spoiling the State Cricket Association’s reputation.
When the Association is divided into two parts and right now case is pending in High Court, Tripura reputation is nationally spoiled.
Legendary cricketer Saurabh Ganguli has been fully ignoring Tripura to take charge whereas other international players who assured to help Tripura cricketers are nowhere seen. Allegation against the committee members for looting cricket funds.
However, opposition demanded a proper investigation into the matter.
Opposition leader Animesh Debbarma asked, why there is no cricketer in the Cricket Association higher posts.
The issue started recently and the teams are now diverged into former CM Biplab Deb and CM Manik Saha's groups.
