AGARTALA, May 15 (TIWN): Huge crisis of staff has been felt in Tripura hospitals amid health-related streams’ passed-out job aspirants are roaming jobless. In Belonia subdivisional hospital on Monday, patients were seen waiting for the Doctor for a long time but hours after the Doctor did not reach the hospital. The patients reached the hospital at around morning 9 am. At 12 O’Clock when Dr. M.Chowdhury reached the hospital, she said she is very sick and just reached from Agartala today. She had told her higher authority about it. The Doctor also mentioned that she is alone in this entire dental department and that’s why all the problems are being faced.
Not only Doctors but thousands of nurses, paramedical passed out unemployed youths have been requesting the State Govt to recruit and fill up the vacant posts, but amid massive staff crisis, no initiative have been taken to clear the backlogs.
