AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): Students of Tilabazar Higher Secondary School protested by blocking Tilabazar and Babur Bazar Main Road against a teacher transfer.

According to the reports, Tilabazar Higher Secondary School’s Chemistry teacher Bibhas Dutta has been teaching in Tilabazar Higher Secondary School for a long time. But the teacher Bibhas Datta transferred to Srirampur Suryamani Memorial Higher Secondary School in Kailashahar from Tilabazar Higher Secondary School, and the students of Tilabazar twelfth standard school could not accept the matter. Based on the teacher transfer, the students' said that the teacher Bibhas Dutta should be retained in Tilabazar Higher Secondary School or else there will be a lot of disruption in their studies.

In protest of this, the students of Tilabazar 12th standard school have been protesting by blocking the main road of Tilabazar and Baburbazar since Tuesday morning.

In addition, the students of the school got involved in a fight among themselves, and after receiving the news of the incident a large police force from Irani PS and TSR team rushed to the spot to control the situation.
