AGARTALA, May 8 (TIWN): A man named Suran Orang was brutally beaten to death by 9 people based on an allegation of stealing Goat from neighbour’s house.

The heinous incident took place at Meghliband slum in Simna.

It is reported that among the 9 accused two are women.

However, after receiving the news the entire Police team including the SP of Simna PS rushed to the spot and detained the accused persons. Police said that a forensic team will come to the spot and a proper investigation will be done.

The incident has triggered tension among the local people.
