AGARTALA, May 5 (TIWN): Tourists’ safety is still under question mark in Tripura. A woman from Uganda who has been visiting India reached Tripura but she was looted by an auto driver in Bishalgarh subdivision. In this incident, she has lost her important documents including passport. After the incident another auto driver brought the woman named Babra Nabawesi to Bishalgarh Woman police station. The incident happened at Bishalgarh jail road area, where the auto driver dropped her and ran away with her bag and all important documents including mobile phone, passport.
Later, another driver found her and took her to Bishalgarh Women Police Station around 2 am at night. Police personnel could not talk to her in detail due to communication gap.
The woman said that he came to India from Uganda and stayed in Delhi for some time.
