TELIAMURA, March 23 (TIWN): Due to the lack of necessary blood, the sick patients and their relatives are extremely suffering.
It is mentioned that, in September 2022, the Blood Center of Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital was started by the hands of the Chief Minister of the State, Prof. Manik Saha and the center was providing good service initially. But suddenly this blood center turned empty and there is almost no blood.
Cancer and accident patients are suffering mostly.
When asked about the Blood crisis in the Blood center, Health Officer of Teliyamura Sub-Divisional Hospital Dr. Chandan Debbarma clarified that there is no shortage of blood in this center.
On the other hand, when MOIC Dr Ajit Debbarma was asked about the blood crisis in Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital, he agreed with it and said frequent blood donation camps are not being held in the area like before, and as a result, blood shortage has occurred in this blood center.
There is a vast difference in the statements of Teliamura sub-division health officer Dr Chandan Debbarma and MOIC Dr, Ajit Debbarma of the hospital on the issue of blood shortage. Dr Chandan Debbarma seemed resorted to lies while interacting with media as a Doctor. According to a source, the Blood Center of Teliyamura Sub-Divisional Hospital is currently experiencing severe blood crisis.
However, MOIC and Dr Ajit Debbarma appealed to various social and other organizations of the Teliamura sub-division to organize blood donation camps.
