AGARTALA, March 22 (TIWN): Serious allegation against Ex-Speaker Rebati Das's nephew for violent attacks on a Youth.
On Tuesday night in Yogendra Nagar Indira Colony area, two youths named Tapan Sarkar and Kabi Krishna Das called a young man named Tapas Sarkar from his house and allegedly injured him critically by attacking him with a sharp weapon.
It is alleged that the injured Tapas Sarkar was hit several times on the head with a sharp blade. Tapas Sarkar was seriously injured in this incident. Later, Tapas Sarkar returned to his home in a bloody state.
The family members immediately took him to GB Hospital for treatment. He is currently undergoing treatment at GB Hospital.
The brother of the injured youth said that a case was filed against Tapan Sarkar and Kabi Krishna Das.
