AGARTALA, March 17 (TIWN): A gang of thieves looted many valuables from two shops. The incident took place on Thursday night in Maharanipur market under Teliamura police station.

According to the details of the incident, two businessmen from Maharanipur market, Sajal Kumar Saha and Sameer Saha went to their homes after crossing their shops on Thursday night like other days. On Friday morning the two businessmen received calls over Phone that their shops were looted. Later, the two businessmen came to the shop and witnessed a group of thieves stole various items from the shop by breaking the lock of the shop.

The two businessmen Sajal Kumar Saha and Sameer Saha reported the theft incident to Teliamura police station. The theft incident occurred amid police patrol system in Maharanipur market in the dark of night. Centering the theft incident question raises, that how the group of thieves managed to steal amid Police patrol system.

However, recently theft cases have been increased in various areas under Teliamura town areas including Maharanipur Bazar, which has caused concern among the public.
