AGARTALA, March 15 (TIWN): Miscreants set fire to Bimal Dutt's poultry farm in Betaga signboard area of Santir Bazar sub-division on Wednesday at around 3:30 am. The chickens at the Farm has burnt.

It is alleged that when Santir Bazar Fire Service was called, no one answered the call. Later, the public contacted the fire brigade office in Agartala, and after that Santir Bazar fire department personnel rushed to the incident spot to bring the fire under control, but before that everything was burnt down into ashes.

The owner of the firm claimed that the fire could have been brought under control if the fire brigade personnel had reached the spot on time. The farm owner faced huge losses after the devastating incident.
