AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): Challenging Police Data, which says over 250 arrests were made in post result attack incident, Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury accused Chief Minister Manik Saha as the protector of goons and protector of culprits. “Nobody was arrested and the goons who were injured in an attempt to attack the common men in Bordowali, CM is standing beside those goons and saying no culprit will be spared. You (CM) are the protector of the culprits and goons”, said Jitendra Chowdhury to CM Manik Saha via media.

“The data which says that over 250 persons were arrested, I can challenge it’s fake. They were summoned and after treating them with tea and biscuits, they are released. I was shocked that today Governor told us that over 800 arrests were made. That means DG informed Chief Secretary that over 250 persons were arrested and to Governor it was said over 800 were arrested. The entire data is false”, claimed Jitendra Chowdhury.
