AGARTALA, March 10 (TIWN): Tripura Departments have been distributed. There have been major reshuffles in the departments and very important dept that Education is on hold and to be monitored by CM Manik Saha. Prestigious department of Finance has gone to Udaipur’s MLA, Minister Pranajit Singha Roy. Health, Home and all departments which are not announced will be under CM’s monitoring for now. Three more Ministers are expected to join the cabinet as three seats are yet vacant. The Depts of Home, Health & Family Welfare, PWD, and all other Depts which are not allocated to any Minister will belong to CM Dr. Manik Saha for now.
Minister Ratan Lal Nath was given the responsibility of Power, Election and Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Dept.
Minister Pranajit Singha Roy will handle Finance, Planning & Coordination, IT.
Minister Sushanta Chowdhury got Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism.
Minister Santana Chakma got Industries & Commerce, Jail (Home), Welfare of OBCs.
Minister Tinku Roy has been given Youth Affairs and Sports, Social Welfare and Social Education, and Labour.
Minister Bikash Debbarma got Tribal Welfare Dept, Handloom and Handicraft and Sericulture, Statistics.
Minister Sudhangshu Das got Welfare of Schedule Cast, Animal Resource Development, Fisheries.
Minister Sukla Charan Noatia received Corporation, Tribal Welfare(TRP & PTG), Welfare of Minorities.
