AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): Fruit market burnt to ashes in a mysterious fire incident. The fire incident occurred near Teliamura Police Station.

The entire fruit market next to the wholesale vegetable market was gutted in the fire. After receiving the fire incident information, the Fire Department officials rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control, but 8-10 shops burnt into ashes in total.

According to the police, it is not yet clear whether the incident was an accident or sabotage. 8-10 shops burnt in the incident.

Police have started an investigation to find out where the fire started. A Police official also urged people not to spread rumours centering the fire incident.
