AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): Tipra Motha and BJP’s post-poll alliance is now possible as Tipra Motha Supremo has agreed to meet BJP leaders but not for any posts and it should be only for serious talks about constitutional solution. The statement came after Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma told media in Agartala on Saturday that BJP is ready to sit with Tipra Motha but BJP will not accept state division but BJP is always ready to talk about other issues related to tribal areas' development. If alliance happens with the BJP, it will be a post poll alliance as BJP already narrowly secured its victory with 32 seats. “We can talk but it should be focussed on Tribal welfare because BJP also believes in development, but Tripura’s land can’t be partitioned”, Sarma told media. In reply, today Tipra Motha chief Pradyot Manikya said, “We are also ready to talk to them but they should call us officially and after proper analysis of our demands. Our goal is a constitutional solution for our people. If BJP invites us and offers some posts, then it will not work out”.
On the other side, non-BJP supporters and a section of media have been blaming Tipra Motha for helping BJP to come to power. Today replying to the trolls Pradyot Manikya said, “We are fighting OUR FIGHT not your FIGHT ! This message is clear !”
