AGARTALA, March 4 (TIWN): Even after the BJP-IPFT alliance won in the assembly elections, the attacks on the opposition party workers continue. After the victory of the BJP-IPFT alliance, a terror like situation is going on in Unakoti District under Fatikrai Assembly constituency. Miscreants allegedly burnt rubber plantation, vandalised houses and bikes in entire Fatikrai Assembly Constituency, Chandipur Assembly constituency, Pabiachhara Assembly constituency and even Kailashahar Assembly constituency under Unakoti District.

On hearing all these incidents, Tripura Pradesh Congress President, Kailashar Assembly Constituency MLA Birjit Sinha met with the victim families, was accompanied by Kailashar District Congress President Md. Badruzzaman. CPIM’s nominated candidate of Chandipur Assembly Constituency Krishnendu Chowdhury, CPIM Unakoti district CPIM member Kanti Lal Dey and other prominent leaders of the Left Congress were also present as companions.

This Left Congress delegation visited the houses of CPIM and Congress workers attacked by BJP workers and inquired about the soil

It is known the CPIM-Congress families are reeling under risks from miscreants.
