AGARTALA, March 4 (TIWN): Miscreants allegedly set fire to a rubber garden last night. The incident occurred in South Champamura area under Kamalasagar Assembly Constituency.
It is known the rubber garden owner Gopal Chandra Debnath, a resident of ward no 2 of the South Champamura area under Kamalasagar Assembly Constituency. He fell asleep on Friday night after dinner. But on the last mid-night at 3 o'clock, Gopal Chandra Debnath came out of his room and found that the rubber garden was burning next to his house.
Noticing the destruction Gopal Chandra Debnath started screaming, and hearing his screams his family members came out from the room and tried to extinguish the fire. The fire incident was reported to the Fire Department. The fire Service Personnel rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
Gopal Chandra Debnath will file case against the incident.
This incident has spread intense fear in the entire Champamura.
