AGARTALA, March 4 (TIWN): One of the most upset BJP leaders after sacking of Biplab Deb was Papia Datta who was once Mohila Morcha Secretary and then BJP General Secretary but she lost 6-Agartala seat massively with Sudip Roy Barman even after her door to door campaigning against Sudip Barman’s no campaigning candidature style.

Today, BJP blocked road preventing public movement in office hours alleging party office of the BJP at Indra Nagar was vandalized by CPI-M and Congress workers, though no evidence could be placed so far and BJP workers themselves said, they found the office vandalized and have no idea who did it. Papia Datta joined the protest, giving aggressive statement against Sudip Barman, although trolled by netizens over her exclusive defeat. It has raised question over her intention behind the protest as since BJP’s victory once Biplab Deb’s close coterie started roaming with CM Manik Saha. It can be noted that Papia Datta in last "Raksha Bandan" festival, chose to celebrate with Biplab Deb instead of Manik Saha although Biplab Deb was sacked by that time.

Papia Datta is BJP’s state generation secretary but there can be a major reshuffle of the leaders including the Party State President post that has been held by BJP's another defeated candidate Rajib Bhattacharjee.

With Biplab Deb's groups almost extinction in the Tripura Assembly, now many leaders are in trouble. So, doubt remains, is it her attempt to be highlighted in media to secure her posts by causing this road blockade ?Who did actually vandalized BJP office ? On the other side, internal clashes were reported centering the CM post. Pratima Bhowmik’s pale face was noticed since Manik Saha took charge of CM by withdrawing his resignation from Governor of his CM post.
