AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): Supporting Congress candidate Prashanta Sen Chowdhury in Mohanpur, CPI-M, and Congress held a joint rally there.

Congress MLA Sudip Barman was present on the occasion and called for vote for Congress candidate.

BJP’s local candidate is Minister Ratan Lal Nath who has asked his party workers to make sure that the opposition candidate should be defeated by 40,000 votes out of the 46,000 voters in his constituency.

Tripura Election is going to be held on February 16 and the result will be declared on March 2nd.
