AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury on Monday while addressing media from a joint` press meet in Agartala slammed the BJP led State Govt accusing it of running a “fascist” Govt for last 5 years in Tripura.
“The nation has been already suffering under the fascist regime. BJP with its fake promises successfully occupied the power in 2018 and since then, people have no peace. Their constitutional rights have been snatched”, said Chowdhury.
“Almost everyday people have been attacked under the BJP’s fascist regime. Then there are pressures of anti-people decisions of the Govt”, he added.
Left Front and Congress have come into seat sharing for 2023 poll targeting to defeat the BJP in the Assembly poll which is going to be held on February 16.
