AGARTALA, Feb 2 (TIWN): As Left and Congress’s seat sharing issue was resolved, both parties have started campaigning together.
Today on the last day of nomination withdrawal, candidates of both parties compromised and came under a mutual decision of sharing seats instead of fighting against each other.
Congress said, this joint effort will remove BJP from power by next month.
CPI-M state secretary Jitendra Chowdhury also said that to remove BJP, parties have decided to sacrifice personal issues so that BJP gets no chance to come to power.
Pointing BJP as an “evil” energy, CPI-M, Congress said that right now most important work is nothing but to remove the BJP from Tripura, otherwise, the democracy will be never restored.
