AGARTALA, July 8 (TIWN): Much hype ‘Nesha Mukt Tripura’ remains nowhere, the state is drowned under the addiction of Drugs. Young aged College, School students are getting addicted towards drugs in Tripura. Again, a young aged man including a girl (probably minor) were caught red handed with drugs in Jirania area on Friday.
The local traders caught them and various intoxicated tablets were recovered from the girl’s bag.
Immediately the local people informed to the Jirania PS, the Police rushed to the spot and detained the youth from the spot and took him to the PS
This incident has erupted tension in the area.
The young aged youths and small traders are getting detained by the Police but the main criminals who are running the entire Drugs trade behind the curtain are not getting caught.
