AGARTALA, June 30 (TIWN): Amid rumours of IPFT rebel MLA Mebar Jamatia’s joining of Tipra Motha party, after Delhi police on Wednesday arrested him, allegations were raised against BJP leader Patal Kanya Jamatia for playing a deep intrigue against Mebar Jamatia aiming to ruin Mebar Jamatia’s political career ahead of Assembly poll. Local newspapers reported the University student who accused Mebar Jamatia of molestation case is a part of decorated ‘Script’ by Patal Kanya Jamatia. On Wednesday, Delhi police had arrested Mebar Jamatia in a molestation case after a University student complained against him.
No statement on behalf of Mebar Jamatia or Police has been received.
After Tripura ADC ruling party Tipra Motha announced that almost all IPFT leaders will join Tipra Motha party after July 15, in a shocking note, IPFT MLA Mebar Jamatia has been arrested by Delhi police in molestation case on Wednesday. Netizens have slammed both the ruling BJP and and its ally IPFT parties alleging it is to harass the MLA. Mebar Jamatia was a Minister in Tripura cabinet, but like Sudip Barman he was sacked from Ministry and recently Mebar Jamatia’s wife Geeta Debbarma joined Tipra Motha party and it is in rumour that soon Mebar Jamatia will join Tipra Motha party. In this condition, Mebar Jamatia’s Case was labelled by Netizens as a False Case.
Recently, Mebar Jamatia in a news channel slammed Patal Kanya Jamatia for her badmouthing against Pradyot Manikya.
