AGARTALA, June 16 (TIWN): Massive power cut problems have been affecting health services in various Govt hospitals in Tripura. At Unakoti District hospital power cut hit the services even in daytime. Reportedly, from Thursday morning no power connection was there in Unakoti District hospital but on being asked, the medical staffs hesitated to complain about anything. Due to power cut tests, CT scans all have been stopped and also water crisis problems are reeling over there. It was seen that a Doctor was writing prescriptions with torchlights and then he was using candles. Patient parties who talked to media slammed the Govt over such miserable conditions of the services.Patient and patient parties are suffering the most. Without fan and light, patients’ conditions instead of developing have been deteriorating.
Even the patient parties are unable to walk properly inside the wards.
Hospital staff said due to such disruptions, regularly they face problems and power cut, day-long load-shedding are regular events.
