AGARTALA, June 8 (TIWN): Resigned BJP MLA, former Minister and Congress candidate for Agartala-6 by-poll Sudip Roy Barman on Wednesday said he had no desire to join BJP at all in 2017 but public wanted a change and it was important to get united against the then ruling Left Front to unseat them. Addressing media, Sudip Roy Barman said, “Practically, from heart I never wanted to join BJP but for public demand and common motive we had to do it. Moreover, we had no idea that the Vision Document can be a lie which was published by BJP Central Leaders and Central Union Minister Arun Jaitley. Like you (voters), we were also misled”.
Sudip Roy Barman further asked the voters to cast vote in early morning before they take their breakfast. Barman also assured that a number will be provided to the people to call anytime during the poll if they face any rigging.
