AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): In a pathetic incident a person lost his life in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a bike on Monday. The incident occurred infront of the first gate of Sepahijala Sanctuary under Bishalgarh PS. The deceased is identified as Deepak Debbarma.
According to eyewitnesses, due to the excessive speed of bike, he lost control and hit the bus. After noticing the incident the locals immediately informed Bishalgarh Fire Brigade. The staff of Bishalgarh Fire Brigade rescued Deepak Debbarma in critical condition and rushed him to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital where the on-duty doctor of the hospital declared him dead.
It is known that the deceased is from Bishramganj. He was killed in a head-on collision with a bus on his way home on a bike. Accidents are going on in different areas under Bishalgarh police station every day. The locals are showing resentment over the role of Bishalgarh traffic unit in reducing the number of accidents.
