AGARTALA, Nov 30 (TIWN): Clashes occurred between 2 families centering land dispute at Bamutia under Ward No-2.

The attackers were identified as Ujjal Biswas, Tapash Biswas, Shilpi Biswas and Mani Biswas. Allegedly they attacked Nakul Biswas and his family with shovels and rods. The victim Nakul Biswas’s family complained Rs 1 lakh 15 thousand taken from the drawer while the attackers rushed to organize an attack on them, and also vandalized various items at home.

The victim's family lodged a written complaint at Bamutia Police Outpost under Lefunga PS. Police visited the incident spot and collected preliminary information and an investigation is underway. 

Tapash Biswas (the main criminal) has been jailed by Bamutia Outpost Police earlier in connection with various cases against him and he was in the fugitive, according to Police.
