AGARTALA, Nov 27 (TIWN): Left Front placed deputation to DIG over deteriorating law and order alleging that in this November month 2 shameful incidents have taken place under Bishramganj PS and Radhakishore Pur PS but the Police failed to detain the miscreants who were involved with two incidents. Demanding immediate arrest of culprits, five leftist organisations DYFI, GMP, TYF, SFI and TSU placed deputation to DIG at Agartala Police Headquarters.

It is known, on 12th November late at night a married couple while returning from a Programme at Oareang Village under Bishramgang PS, miscreants kidnapped the wife and attempted to rape near the Deon Bazar area. When the husband obstructed the husband was beaten up by miscreants and tried to kill him. As a result both the husband and wife were severely injured.

Same incident happened on 19th Nov under the Radhakishore Pur PS, while a married couple was returning from programme, miscreants attempted rape the wife near Tepania Eco Park, where the husband and wife both got injured.

But despite two incidents the Police failed to arrest the culprits involved in these rape attempt cases. Demanding arrest and stern action of the miscreants who were involved in both the incidents, the five leftist organisations placed deputation to DIG at Agartala Police Headquarters.
