AGARTALA, NOV 24 (TIWN): Ahead of Municipal Election violence, attacks on opposition party workers continues in different places across the state. In yet another barbaric incident, another CPI-M supporter's house has came under the red-eye of ruling party goons. The incident occurred on Tuesday midnight at Ranjit Nagar area.
According to the details of the incident, the miscreants attacked two grocery stores and a house in the area as the house owner is a CPI-M party supporter. They vandalized the shop and looted the money.
Later the owner filed a complaint against the miscreants at Ramnagar Outpost. The police rushed to the spot and started investigating. This incident erupted massive tension in the locality of Ranjit Nagar area ahead of Municipal Election.
