AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): After BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman called a press meet over the deteriorated law and order situation in the state, BJP Tripura organized a press meet saying action will be taken against the MLA in time.

BJP has slammed the MLA alleging he is engaged in anti-party activity.

“Everyone will see how BJP takes action against such anti-party people. The MLA wrote a letter to the DGP. Did he take permission to write the letter ??”, said a BJP spokesperson.

Trinamool Congress has welcomed Sudip Roy Barman’s statement and called him a responsible leader.

BJP said, “It is sad that Trinamool has got a ground due to the irresponsible MLAs Sudip Roy Barman, Asish Saha”.

Tripura Municipal Poll will be conducted on November 25 and the action against Sudip Barman will be taken after that.
