AGARTALA, Nov 22 (TIWN): All India Trinamool Congress General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee has said that National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) must be ashamed of its incapable role to take action against the hooliganism in Tripura.

Abhishek Banerjee has written a letter to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) about Tripura’s ongoing incident.

“I have written a letter to the NHRC but I do not hope that there will be any action taken against the incidents by the NHRC whereas in Bengal NHRC acted as per one man’s instruction so biasedly. BJP claims about Bengal violence but where is the footage ? Can BJP claim, a single journalist was attacked in Bengal ? Was there any attack on the police inside Police station ?”, added Abhishek Banerjee.
