AGARTALA, Nov 22 (TIWN): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will meet Prime Minister Modi and raise Tripura violence issue happening under the Chief Ministry of Biplab Deb.
Mamata Banerjee slammed the lawless-regime under the BJP leadership in Tripura.
Addressing the media in Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee also condemned the arrest of TMC Youth President Saayoni Ghosh and said Ghosh was arrested 'without any charges'.
"Tripura BJP is the Govt run by the goons and there is no democracy existing anymore. Where's the National Human Rights Commission or the Home Minister or (Article) 355? How many notices have been sent by the Government of India to Tripura?”, asked Mamata Banerjee.
TMC General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee who is in Tripura today said that if Home Minister Amit Shah does not meet TMC MPs today, Mamata Banerjee may join them in their protest.
