DHARMANAGAR, Nov 20 (TIWN): TMC leader Sushmita Dev during Dharmanagar visit has called BJP a “useless” party which in the name of politics only organizes violence.

“BJP on the one hand says ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ but at the same time, hotels are pressured not to give place to the TMC workers. Have they ever thought about how the opposition women activists suffer due to such things ? There is often no place for women activists to get fresh”, said Sushmita Deb.

Subal Bhowmik said, “The town Dharmanagar has changed. People are so resented by this Govt. Once Dharmanagar was known for peace and today maximum violence is happening here. Where is the state going under BJP ?”

“Due to such violence Tripura’s reputation has been spoiled and those who come to report for Tripura are charged under UAPA law”, Bhowmik added.
