AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): Tripura former CM Manik Sarkar has accused the BJP led Tripura Govt for undermining the constitutional values and torturing people.

“Constitution has turned invalid and amid such a situation, the economic condition is miserable. I would say, people have not seen such a condition of Tripura in the last 50 year”, said Sarkar.

“BJP is trying to instigate tensions in the state and minorities are rapidly attacked. By doing these, the ruling party is trying to win the election”, said Manik Sarkar.

Manik Sarkar also criticized a portion of the media which are still backing the Govt when a major portion of journalists are attacked in severe means.
