Supriya Baidya, 20 years old died unnaturally. She was pregnant.

Locals and the deceased’s family members alleged that she was murdered planwise by her husband Alik Shil Sarma and his parents but even after complaining, as police did not take any action, locals gathered at the Belonia Women PS seeking arrest of the culprit within 24 hours.

The agitating locals also said if the accused is not arrested soon, then bigger protests will be organized.
