AGARTALA, Nov 8 (TIWN): In a political twist, BJP’s ally IPFT party and strongest regional party TIPRA Motha have aligned for a protest movement in Delhi where the parties will go with TIPRA Land demand.
BJP has not cleared its stand on state division after this development. On the other side, Left Front has clarified that it will never support Tripura partition whether its Tipraland / Greater Tipraland.
Today calling a press meet, IPFT has announced that both the parties are going to Delhi with separate state demand and to demonstrate at Jantar Mantar.
IPFT has two Ministers in the State Cabinet. One IPFT MLA Brishketu Debbarma had joined TIPRA Motha recently due to ideological differences and his strong anti-BJP stand.
