AGARTALA, Nov 4 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress (TMC) Convener Subal Bhowmik has alleged that DPG Tripura is now working secretly as almost a domestic servant of Tripura CM Biplab Deb. Subal Bhowmik was reacting over the law and order situation and pre-poll rigging in Tripura centering Municipality Election and said, “The DGP is here in Tripura for the last 3 years and we sought DGP’s time at least for 50 times but he had no time for the opposition party members. As per the report the DGP is working almost as a domestic servant of CM Biplab Kumar Deb. He has no time to come out of the CM's residence and to listen to the opposition. Our request to the DGP is that he must sit on the DGP's chair for 1 day and to assure people that police will give security to them. Tripura's lawless condition has concerned the Human Rights Commission also”.

Subal Bhowmik also raised a question, in which hospital the Governor of Tripura Satyadev Narayan Arya is admitted as he is refusing to meet the opposition due to his illness and on the contrary Bengal Governor is proactive in criticizing the State Govt.
