AGARTALA, Nov 2 (TIWN): CPI-M’s student wing DYFI observed its 42nd foundation day in Melarmath Office, Agartala.
DYFI State Secretary Nabarun Deb, President Palash Bhowmik and other leaders were present on the occasion.
Addressing the media, DYFI State President Palash Bhowmik said, “In 1980 Punjab’s Ludhiana first DYFI was founded through its first conference. Since then, DYFI continued its fight for democratic rights of people along with anti-corporate movements. DYFI believes in secularism and always voices against communal hatred for the sake of national integrity, unity. Today our nation is undergoing a severe crisis and DYFI continues movements over unemployment like issues. Also our protest is a part of opposing the fascist Governance in Tripura where everyday DYFI activists are attacked”.
