AGARTALA, Nov 1 (TIWN): Promising ‘acche din’ the BJP came in power but recent data shows that the tax collection of the Govt has increased around 21% under the BJP Govt.

Earlier under Left Govt the tax revenue collection was only 9% and now it has increased to 30%.

Though Govt would claim that tax imposition and revenue collection are not always connection but it's a fact that from power to water, pipeline gas all charges are now burning with hikes in comparison to the previous years. The taxation also increased amid increasing unemployment and Covid situation.

In Tripura many starvation, suicidal deaths have been reported in recent years.
